Beyond Lavender
As part of the Arts Connect Inc members’ exhibition at The Old Ambulance Station in Nambour, I have on display, and for sale, selected media from my Care Activities. The exhibition is titled Truth, Healing and Prophecy and in a previous Blog, Lavender Pathways I talked about my journey to creating the activity resources.
I have grouped selected books and DVDs into themed collections, each collection is priced at a special of $95 for the exhibition:
Share-Time Pictures are designed for people with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. They are suitable for sharing with clients and loved ones in home care, day care, and aged care facilities, including Special Needs Units.
These movies and Picture Books are ideal to assist generic reflection, social identification, reminiscence, relaxation and quiet enjoyment. Images are presented in the form of themed short stories to provide more visual and cognitive stimulation than random images. My Care Activities include everyday experiences, step-by-step procedures and activities focusing on
– Nature – Home – Hobbies –
