New Cyanotypes Coming!

I’ve been so inspired by my recent walk through Mary Cairncross rain forest in Maleny. I have two more large cyanotypes and some smaller ones set-up – then re-arranged, and re-arranged again. LOL!! Designing these takes me a while, nutting out the theme, design, and how the design will balance with the amount of blocked out exposure to filtered sunlight through semi-transparent flora. A lovely switch for my brain between, painting, drawing, photography, and cyanotypes.

A few days ago I got up to see this python tail skin blowing from the eaves. Guessing we have a Boarder in the roof 😳 I was pretty chuffed non-the-less I must say as I had been wanting one for the images – as long as I don’t bump in to its original owner 🙂

Next week I’ll share my entries and details for the Botanica Exhibition being held at Mary Cairncross Reserve in November for members of Arts Connect Inc. The paintings I’ve been working on are varnished and dry now. I’m also drawing up a new canvas (not a rain forest, but trees) – hence the Tip for drawing this week 🙂
