3 Finalist Selections
I am thrilled to be a selected Finalist, from over 400 entries, in the 2 PETITE PIECES Exhibitions and competition at Aspire Gallery. in Paddington QLD.
The Flourishing Garden – is selected for the Gallery exhibition at the Aspire Gallery in Paddington QLD.
This lush and joyful painting was completed in my studio. It was composed from a charcoal sketch that I had drawn en plein air in the gardens of the Caloundra Regional Gallery in Queensland. Acrylic on stretched canvas 50cm (W) x 40.3cm (H). This painting has also been selected by Bluethumb gallery on two occasions for special themed curations – Not Too Big, Not Too Small, Medium Sized Art – on 15th July 2021, and Biophilic Design – on February 8th 2022.
These 2 artworks are selected as Finalists in the PETITE PIECES Aspire Gallery Online Exhibition.
Both paintings were created from a few of my photographs taken in our country garden at Maleny when a roost of Caper White Butterflies fluttered across the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

The Gallery Exhibition Info & Dates:
4th to 25th March 2023 – Open to the public every Saturday, 10:30am to 4:30pm. Other times by appointment.
