I love discovering the colours and rhythms found in nature. And I love painting my interpretations of those experiences. I hope you enjoy them too.
As I mentioned in my last post, this artwork is created from a photo I took during a recent boat-tour gliding down the East Alligator River, in the Northern Territory. The view is towards the Arnhem Land side. The afternoon sun and dappled light were breathtaking. So more wondrous than the phone snap resource but the liveliness and play of sunlight is imprinted in my mind.
